I live in Alachua County, FL, where I grow my own veggies, raise chickens and some livestock. I am also a disabled American covered under Title II of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) b/c my MDs have prescribed I eat foods free of pesticides, growth hormones, etc.
When the Alachua County Sheriffs nose around the borders of my property, I promise them I will sue them in their individual and personal capacity for violating my rights as a disabled American under Title II of the ADA, pursuant to “TENNESSEE V . LANE” (2004 U.S. Supreme Court). Works every time.
Under Tennessee v. Lane, nutcase cops, etc., who tell you you can’t eat from your own garden can be sued PERSONALLY for violating your rights under Title II of the ADA.

That’s interesting. I’m not aware of this ruling but would like to know more. Anyone else want to jump in here?
Deborah,
You have a very rich website. I like your articles and your creativity. Good work.

Thank you! As I progress in yoga, I hope I’ll become wiser and that my blog posts will provide more insight.
Chris, I do a variation of that all the time, but I just take leftovers and freeze in single portions. When I was single I only cooked once a week (2-3 different main dishes, cooked all at once in the oven, saves money)….then froze single portions, in a coupla weeks I had many different meals to choose form on a daily basis.
I don’t have an idea for a blog post I just wanted to say that I think the idea of a “guest blogger” is great! I do have an idea for green and simple living though! I think it counts anyway.. instead of buying expensive pre-made frozen dinners you can make a large batch of food in your kitchen and freeze it in individual containers to heat up and enjoy later! Much cheaper and home cooked goodness!
