Local Food Sources I’ve Tried So Far
***
As I prepare for my Month of Local Eating in July (aka the 100 Mile Diet), I’m digging for every piece of advice I can get. I’ve added this page to the site in order to share some of the most helpful sites I’ve found so far, along with recommended books (some of which I haven’t yet read).
Update: April 2, 2011
Just found this on the web:
If not LOCALLY PRODUCED, then organic.
If not ORGANIC, then family farm.
If not FAMILY FARM, then local business.
If not a LOCAL BUSINESS, then fair trade.
If all else fails, at least don’t eat at McDonald’s!
