Do you have a website that just isn’t getting the traffic you know it deserves? Want to become a star on Twitter? Got some other little favor you need but don’t have enough friends to help or enough money to buy friends?
You are going to love this!
I’ve just found a website called Work For Favor and it’s all about trading for what you need. No money needed, unless you want to buy some bonus points (more about that later.) “WorkForFavor.com is an innovative social media concept that allows you to barter your time and effort in exchange for “bonus points” that you can then use to pay others for the help you need with your project.
After a quick and easy registration process,I starting clicking through the site to get information because I knew immediately that I’d be sharing it on this blog. From the list of projects, I found one that asked for the favor of posting on a blog about the Work For Favor website. Hey, I was going to do that anyway, so I decided to make it my first WFF favor.
The maximum bid for this job was 85 Bonuses, so I entered my bid of 80 (no particular reason, just a nice round number).
Once this post goes live, I’ll click on Confirm and, as far as I can tell, I’ll soon have some Bonuses to trade for … well, I don’t know yet just what favor I’ll want. Trust me, I’ll think of something.
This strikes me as an excellent way to get free publicity for your small business, your blog, or to get people to show up for your book signing. There are a few rules about what you can’t do, but for the most part it seems that Work For Favor is wide open.
It’s sites like WFF that make me think the internet is the greatest thing since coffee.

Cool! I’m definitely going to check this out.
I hope you’ll report back on your experience with it.
