Here’s Julie Herman to explain what’s going on:
Deborah-Zehna Adams and I had a blast last year starting a newsletter. We invited friends to play along, and they added to our joy. When the two of us talked about where to take b.read.crumbs next, we decided to try a new way of getting the word out: going back to our blogs.
Now Deb never stopped blogging. I did. Or at least I didn’t take it up again when my original website went missing. (Still sobbing a bit about this, naturally.) But it’s time to get back in a routine.
So double duty here, we’re refreshing what b.read.crumbs looks like AND we’re going back to our blogs. We’ll both write a bit, trade and post each other’s on both blogs. Mine on the 1st Tuesday, Deb’s on the third Tuesday. So sign up for notifications (form on my main page just under the blog) so you get your bi-monthly hit of writing wonder.

In the spirit of the New Year, I’m going to offer up a few resolutions for this new/old way of communicating:
1) Be regular, Tuesdays will relate to a theme of the month. (Hint: this month is new beginnings…) and Fridays will be about good books I’ve read, or a writing tidbit or two.
2) Keep inviting guests. (That means I have REASONS to reach out and talk to writer friends. Do we really need reasons? No. But they’re fun to have anyway)
3) Have fun. Share some of the work in progress. I’m enjoying it, why shouldn’t you?
and 4) Keep connecting with Deb. She’s gotten me into more trouble than I have her, and I need to up my game.
